Have you ever watched a snowy owl land on a tree branch?  It wraps its talons around the branch and settles its wings upon its back.  Root. Have you ever watched a snowy owl take flight?  It spreads its wings and releases the grip of its talons. Rise.

The snowy owl in ancient lore symbolizes wisdom, knowledge and vigilance. It reminds us that there is a teacher and a student in all of us.

Observe nature and emulate the rooting and rising of energy. The roots of trees root. The branches of trees rise. The sun roots into the horizon at dusk and rises above the horizon at dawn. 

Life is a celebration of duality. Play in the balance. Root your feet into the soil of the earth as you rise your hands to the sun. Root your heart into what you love and watch your dreams and goals rise to fruition. Root your intentions into action and watch your potential rise from the depths of your existence.
