Root Rise Designs
My yogic journey into the deep understanding of rooting and rising energy began when taking a jewelry class at the Shelburne Arts Center in Shelburne, Vermont. When given brass and silver to work with, I closed my eyes and beckoned my intuition to guide me. What was I going to craft that would symbolically capture how beautifully real and raw life is? Visions of the following surfaced: the sun and moon, the masculine and feminine, the rooting of tree roots and the rising of tree branches, love and hate, war and peace, joy and pain, ying and yang, life and death, internal and external, day and night. Duality. Balance. The dance between polar opposites. The universe knows exactly what it is doing. We are presented with light so we can recognize darkness just as we are presented with darkness so we can recognize light.
Through the blend of brass and sterling silver, I have crafted various designs that uniquely depict the balance of rooting and rising energy. To portray my belief in the art of chiropractic and in the body's ability to heal itself, the chain links in my jewelry pieces represent the vertebrae of the human spine. The spine is the root of our energy and of our existence. It allows our happiness and our potential to rise and flourish as it is meant to.
All Root Rise Designs jewelry has experienced Reiki and when worn will flow forth healing energy.
